How to place an Audio/Voice Call in Troop Messenger?

Step 1 :

Open the chat window of the user you want to voice call/audio call.

Step 2 :

Click  to find Audio Calling feature icon as directed by the arrow from the figure below.

A small pop-up layout(splash board) is opened.

Step 3 :

Click on Audio as directed by the arrow from the figure below.

A confirmation pop-up window is opened at the top of the chat window.

Step 4 :

Click Yes as directed by the arrow from the figure below.

You will be directed to audio-selection prompt page.

Step 5 :

Select either Default, or Built-in Microphone as shown in the figure below.

Step 6 :

Click Next as directed by the arrow from the figure below.

An Audio/Voice call will be initiated to the recipient user as shown in the figure below.

Note: The user who initiated the audio call can Cancel Audio/Voice call by clicking on the  cancel button.

The recipient user can accept or decline the audio/voice call.

Note: The missed audio/voice call notification is sent to the user when the recipient user doesn’t accept or receive the audio/voice call as shown by the arrow from the figure below.

When the recipient user accepts your Audio/Voice call, you are taken to the Audio/Voice call window as shown in the figure below.

Step 7 :

Click here as directed by the arrow as shown in the figure below to switch to your chat window.

The Audio/Voice calling window gets minimized. You are then switched to your chat window as shown in the figure below.

You can now simultaneously chat with the user you are in audio/voice calling, and with the other users of the application as well.

Step 8 :

Click here to go back to Audio/Voice window as directed by the white coloured arrow from the figure below.

Step 9 :

Click  to disconnect your Audio/Voice Call as directed by the arrow from the figure below.

You have successfully done with the Audio/Voice call with the recipient user.

Points to remember: An active Audio/Voice calling window allows you to: • Mute your voice. • Adjust audio/voice call volume • Minimize the audio/voice calling window to switch chat window. • Know the time duration of the audio/voice call. The blue and white colored arrows used in the figures are not part of Troop Messengers user interface. Used them for representational purpose only.

Step 2 :

Click to find Audio Calling feature icon as directed by the arrow from the figure below.

Step 5 :

Click here as directed by the arrow as shown in the figure below to switch to your chat window.

The Audio/Voice calling window gets minimized. You are then switched to your chat window as shown in the figure below.

You can now simultaneously chat with the user you are in audio/voice calling, and with the other users of the application as well.

Step 6 :

Tap on the minimized Audio Call window to go back to the “on call” window.

Step 7 :

Tap to disconnect your Audio/Voice Call as directed by the arrow from the figure below.

You have successfully completed your Audio/Voice call with the recipient user.
